Regular Season Round 22: Kyoto Hannar. - Fukuoka Rizing 86-95

The game in Kyoto was quite interesting. Fourth ranked Fukuoka Rizing (13-9) played at the court of 5th ranked Kyoto Hannaryz (11-11). Fukuoka Rizing managed to secure a 9-point victory 95-86 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Kyoto Hannaryz. Kyoto Hannaryz was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Fukuoka Rizing forced 25 Kyoto Hannaryz turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a very good performance for American swingman Michael Parker (200-81, college: Evergreen St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. The other American import guard Nile Murry (193-83, college: TCU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. American guard Wendell White (198-84, college: UNLV) replied with a double-double by scoring 45 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds (on 19-of-24 shooting from the field) and Trinidad and Tobago power forward Kibwe Trim (208-84, college: Sacred Heart) added 14 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Kyoto Hannaryz. Fukuoka Rizing moved-up to third place, which they share with Okinawa GK. Loser Kyoto Hannaryz keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. Fukuoka Rizing will face Oita Heat Devils (#6) at home in the next round. Kyoto Hannaryz will play against Okinawa GK and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
