Very expected game when 16th ranked Titanes (8-27) were smashed by ninth ranked Huracanes (22-14) in Tampico 95-67. The game without a history. Huracanes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Titanes' players. The best player for the winners was American power forward Robert Hornsby (196-82, college: Troy) who scored 24 points and 9 rebounds. Canadian-Jamaican forward Andrew Hunter (201-79, college: Sacred Heart, agency: SportsList Inc.) chipped in 19 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Five Huracanes players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized American swingman Eric Martin (196-76) who recorded 28 points and 6 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and Jorge Perez added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Huracanes has a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Lechugueros and Lobos Grises.
