No shocking result in a game in Sevilla where tenth ranked Cajasol (7-6) defeated 16th ranked Menorca Basquet (4-9) 75-67 on Wednesday. Menorca Basquet was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Guard Txemi Urtasun (193-84, agency: Interperformances) stepped up and scored 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and American-French forward Tariq Kirksay (199-79, college: Iona) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Cajasol players scored in double figures. Cajasol's coach Joan Plaza used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Serbian forward Ivan Radenovic (208-84, college: Arizona) responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds and U.S. Virgin Isl. Swingman Cuthbert Victor (196-83, college: Murray St.) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Cajasol has a solid series of four victories in a row.
