Regular Season Round 10: Jiangsu D. - Shandong FB 102-81

Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Jiangsu Dragons (6-4) rolled over 10th ranked Shandong Bulls (3-6) in Nanjing 102-81 on Sunday. Jiangsu Dragons made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Shandong Bulls turnovers and outrebounded them 49-38 including 20 on the offensive glass. Jiangsu Dragons looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Quite impressive performance for the former international center ZhengDong Tang (213-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds. The former international guard XueFeng Hu (185-80) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 7 rebounds, 11 assists and 6 steals for the winners. American forward Rodney White (206-80, college: Charlotte) replied with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Myron Allen (180-79, college: Lee JC) added 8 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Shandong Bulls. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Shandong Bulls' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Jiangsu Dragons moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bayi. Loser Shandong Bulls dropped to the eleventh position with six games lost. Jiangsu Dragons will face higher ranked Guandong Tigers (#3) in Dongguan in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Shandong Bulls will play on the road against Shanghai Sharks (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
