Very expected game when 14th ranked Dinamo Sassari (4-8) lost at home to ninth ranked Air Avellino (6-6) 80-71 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 49-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Air Avellino forced 20 Dinamo Sassari turnovers and outrebounded them 38-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Polish center Szymon Szewczyk (209-82) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 9 rebounds.
