EMKL top team - TU/Rock (17-1) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Voru KK (1-17) 134-62. The game without a history. TU/Rock led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 86 of its points in the paint compared to Voru KK's 40. TU/Rock forced 43 Voru KK turnovers and had a 22-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Voru KK's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when TU/Rock made 7 blocks. International guard Rain Veideman (192-91) nailed 40 points (!!!) and 7 assists for the winning side and international forward Tanel Kurbas (197-88) accounted for 28 points and 6 rebounds. Five TU/Rock players scored in double figures. American center Andrais Thornton (203-85, college: NW Missouri St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 18 rebounds and the former international forward Mooses Kaja (195-88) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for Voru KK in the defeat.
