The game with biggest result difference took place in Reykjavik. Local IR (3-9) was outscored by third ranked Keflavik (8-4) 112-88 on Thursday night. The game without a history. Keflavik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to IR's 38. Keflavik looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by IR's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international guard Axel Vilhjalmsson (188-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points, 9 rebounds and 12 assists and who added 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Keflavik maintains third position with 8-4 record having just three points less than leader Snaefell, which they share with KR. Loser IR keeps the eleventh place with nine games lost. Keflavik will meet at home league's leader Snaefell in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. IR will play against Njardvik (#10) in Njardvik and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
