Leading Forssan Koripojat (10-2) recorded its second loss at the home court. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Lapuan Korikobrat (8-4) 78-75. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Forssan Koripojat. Forssan Koripojat was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 30-20 charge of Lapuan Korikobrat, which allowed them to win the game. Forssan Koripojat was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Derick Nelson (196-86, college: Oakland, agency: ACMT) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import guard Benny Valentine (170-87, college: E.Washington) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Canadian center Jeremy McCulloch (212-82, college: E.Washington) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and naturalized American swingman Andre Foreman (198-69, college: Salisbury St.) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Four Forssan Koripojat players scored in double figures. Forssan_Koripojat's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lapuan Korikobrat have an impressive five-game winning streak. Lapuan Korikobrat moved-up to third place, which they share with Honka. Forssan Koripojat at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with Jyvaskyla. Lapuan Korikobrat will play against Tapiolan Honka (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
