The game in Uusikaupunki supposed to be quite interesting. 4th placed Espoo Honka (14-10) played at the court of fifth ranked UU-Korihait (15-10). UU-Korihait did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 84-66 on Friday. The game without a history. UU-Korihait led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. UU-Korihait outrebounded Espoo Honka 43-29 including 17 on the offensive glass. nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and American swingman Nigel Moore (195-81, college: Alabama A&M) accounted for 16 points and 11 rebounds. Five UU-Korihait players scored in double figures. American center John Williamson (198-86, college: Cincinnati) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import forward Corey Belser (200-82, college: San Diego) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Espoo Honka in the defeat. UU-Korihait moved-up to fourth place. Loser Espoo Honka dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. UU-Korihait will meet LrNMKY (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Espoo Honka will play against Porvoon_Tarmo (#12) and hope to secure a win.
