The game in Yingkou was quite interesting. Seventh ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (7-4) played at the court of 8th ranked Liaoning Hunters (6-6). Zhejiang Guangsha Lions managed to secure a 4-point victory 99-95. Liaoning Hunters were ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 27-20 charge of Zhejiang Guangsha Lions, which allowed them to win the game. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions had a 32-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Liaoning Hunters' players. Liaoning Hunters were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American-Puerto Rican center Peter John Ramos (222-85) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds. Taiwanese swingman Chih-Chieh Lin (192-82) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions' coach Fei Wang allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The former international center Xiaoxu Li (207-90) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds and guard Ming Yang (193-85) added 22 points and 5 assists in the effort for Liaoning Hunters. Four Liaoning Hunters players scored in double figures. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Bayi. Liaoning Hunters at the other side keep the eighth position with six games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will play against higher ranked Beijing Ducks (#4) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Liaoning Hunters will play against Zhejiang Cyclones (#10) in Hangzhou and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
