The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Dart Killester (10-2) in Dublin on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Belfast Star (4-6) 75-67. Belfast Star forced 19 Dart Killester turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Dart Killester helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Clayton Longmire (201-84, college: St.Rose (NY)) stepped up and scored 39 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and naturalized British guard Stephen Dawson (190-80) chipped in 8 points and 4 assists.
