The game between second ranked Aanekosken (10-5) and fourth ranked Catz Lappeenranta (9-6) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Aanekosken was defeated by Catz Lappeenranta in a tough game in Aanekoski 58-65. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Aanekosken. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a good game for Estonian forward Kerttu Jallai (179-90) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American center Kenya Robinson (182-70, college: New Orleans) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 18 rebounds and the other American import power forward Michele Jones (186-87, college: Cincinnati) added 17 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Aanekosken. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Espoo Team. Aanekosken at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Catz Lappeenranta is looking forward to face Forssan Alku (#5) at home in the next round. Aanekosken will play against Espoo Team and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
