Very expected game when 12th ranked Porvoon Tarmo (4-22) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Espoo Honka (15-10) 100-93. The game without a history. Espoo Honka led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. 28 personal fouls committed by Porvoon Tarmo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American center John Williamson (198-86, college: Cincinnati) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 15 rebounds. The other American import forward Corey Belser (200-82, college: San Diego) contributed with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Jonathan Heard (198-86) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and guard Jarkko Kyllonen (186-87) added 16 points and 8 assists in the effort for Porvoon Tarmo. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Porvoon Tarmo's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Espoo Honka maintains fifth position with 15-10 record. Porvoon Tarmo lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted Porvoon Tarmo stay dead last with 22 lost games. Espoo Honka's next round opponent will be Namika Lahti (#8) on the road.
