CBA top team - Xinjiang Flying Tige (12-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Foshan (3-9) in Urumqi 105-91. The game was mostly controlled by Xinjiang Flying Tige. Foshan managed to win fourth quarter 29-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Xinjiang Flying Tige shot 60.6 percent from the field. The former international center Bateer Mengke (210-75) stepped up and scored 24 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and American forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) chipped in 24 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Stephon Marbury (187-77, college: Georgia Tech) responded with 27 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and center Zhun Zheng (214-92) scored 22 points.
