Rather expected game when 9th ranked Voru KK (1-17) lost to seventh ranked TTU/Kalev II (6-11) in Tallinn 71-80 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 44-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American center Andrew Arnold (208-86, college: Lewis-Clark) nailed 9 points and 21 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Mooses Kaja (195-88) accounted for 13 points and 12 rebounds. TTU/Kalev II's coach Indrek Reinbok allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Curtis Allen (193-85, college: ORU) came up with 21 points and 9 rebounds and forward Silver Kuuba (198-74) added 11 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Voru KK in the defeat. Four Voru KK players scored in double figures. TTU/Kalev II moved-up to sixth place. Voru KK lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 17 lost games. TTU/Kalev II will meet at home higher ranked BC Rakvere (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Voru KK will play against TTU/Kalev (#3) in Tallinn.
