No shocking result in a game in Habikaa where second ranked Maccabi HBK (10-4) defeated 10th ranked Lev Hasharon (5-9) 86-69 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi HBK. Lev Hasharon managed to win fourth quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Paul Delaney (188-86, college: UAB, agency: Lanshire Group) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Steffon Bradford (200-78, college: Nebraska, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks during the contest. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Maccabi HBK have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-4 record having four points less than leader Hapoel T-A, which they share with Elitzur Yavne. Lev Hasharon lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with nine games lost. Maccabi HBK will meet bottom-ranked Ironi Nahariya (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
