Regular Season Round 28: Nitra - Levice 78-75

Sixth-ranked Levice (10-12) gave a tough game to first ranked Nitra (17-4) on Wednesday. Nitra managed to secure only three-point victory 78-75. However their fans expected much easier game. Levice cut a 13-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Czech guard Pavel Bosak (192-82) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and American forward Duane Erwin (206-82, college: Memphis, agency: Lanshire Group) who added 13 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Nitra's coach Lubomir Urban used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Slovenian guard Tadej Kostomaj (186-87) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and forward Peter Seman (191-77) scored 17 points. Four Levice players scored in double figures. Nitra has a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 17-4 record. Levice at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 12 games lost. Nitra are looking forward to face Komarno (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Levice will play against Vahostav-Zilina (#4) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
