Very expected game when 14th ranked Jilin Tigers (3-11) were defeated on the road by sixth ranked Beijing Ducks (9-6) 105-98 on Friday. Jilin Tigers trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 25-20 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 98-105 at the end of the game. Beijing Ducks dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Jilin Tigers' 54 and made 19-of-20 free shots (95.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) who had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds. Forward Zhe Ji (202-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman David Young (196-81, college: N.C.Central, agency: Impact Basketball) who recorded 34 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and forward Jiang Du (200-82) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Jilin Tigers' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Beijing Ducks moved-up to fifth place. Jilin Tigers lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 11 games lost. Beijing Ducks will face Liaoning Hunters (#8) in Yingkou in the next round. Jilin Tigers will play at home against the league's leader Xinjiang Flying Tige (#1) in Urumqi.
