Very important is a road loss of third ranked ISS Sportino (11-5) against ninth ranked Spojnia (8-8) on Saturday night. Visiting ISS Sportino was defeated by Spojnia in a tough game in Stargard 76-80. Spojnia forced 19 ISS Sportino turnovers. ISS Sportino was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Jerzy Koszuta (191-82) nailed 21 points and 4 steals for the winning side and guard Slawomir Buczyniak (180-84) accounted for 14 points and 4 assists. Spojnia's coach Tadeusz Aleksandrowicz allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Center Aleksander Lichodzijewski (202-84) came up with 22 points and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Lukasz Zytko (181-81) added 16 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals respectively for ISS Sportino in the defeat. Four ISS Sportino players scored in double figures. Spojnia moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Znicz Basket. ISS Sportino lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. Spojnia will play against higher ranked MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ISS Sportino will play against Polonia 2011 in Warszawa and hopes to get back on the winning track.
