Regular Season Round 11: Zabok - Dubrovnik 79-68

The game in Zabok was quite interesting. 5th ranked Dubrovnik (5-6) played at the court of sixth ranked Zabok (5-6). Zabok defeated Dubrovnik 79-68 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for center Jure Lozancic (211-83, college: Jacksonville) who led the winners and scored 7 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Robert Lez (200-79) accounted for 13 points for the winning side. Zabok's coach Dragutin Crnjevic used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Ante Vranjes (204-75) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Antonio Ostric (200-89) added 19 points respectively for Dubrovnik in the defeat. Zabok moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Kvarner 2010 and Dubrovnik. Zabok will meet league's leader KK Split on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dubrovnik will have a break next round.
