Regular Season Round 16: Bayer Giants - Stahnsdorf 76-74

Another very close game took place in Leverkusen between Bayer Giants and RSV Eintracht. Tenth ranked Bayer Giants (6-10) got a very close home victory over much higher ranked RSV Eintracht (12-4). Bayer Giants managed to escape with a 2-point win 76-74 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of RSV Eintracht. Bayer Giants moved-up to eighth place in Group North, which they share with Rist-Wedel and SU Medien. RSV Eintracht at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with Schwelm. Bayer Giants will play against Spot Up Medien Baskets (#9) in Braunschweig in the next round. RSV Eintracht will play at home against the league's leader SC Rasta Vechta (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
