There was no surprise in Quaregnon where 9th ranked Optima Gent (2-10) was defeated by third ranked Dexia Mons-Hainaut (9-4) 70-62. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Dexia Mons-Hainaut made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American power forward Ben McCauley (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Ahmad Nivins (206-87, college: St.Joseph's, agency: Impact Basketball) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Senne Geukens (190-83) answered with 19 points and 7 rebounds and American power forward Monwell Randle (203-83, college: SE Missouri St., agency: Court Side) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Optima Gent.
