Bottom-ranked Enel Brindisi managed to get the second consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time newly promoted Enel Brindisi edged fourth-ranked Air Avellino 80-79. Air Avellino was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 22-19 charge of Enel Brindisi, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Anthony Roberson (188-83, college: Florida) who led the winners and scored 27 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Bobby Dixon (178-83, college: Troy, agency: Beo Basket) accounted for 14 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side.
