Tenth-ranked Maccabi Haifa (3-9) used its home court advantage to challenge fifth ranked Bnei Hasharon (8-6). The visitors from Hod Hasharon managed to secure only three-point victory 100-97. However their fans expected much easier game. Maccabi Haifa was tied at the half and again at the end of regular time. But they could not keep up in overtime eventually losing that period 14-17.
