Regular Season Round 11: BC Asker - Ullern 50-53

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Asker/BV (9-1) in Rykkinn on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by fourth ranked Ullern (4-5) 53-50. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Asker/BV. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Ullern forced 26 Asker/BV turnovers. The former international guard Kristine Kristiansen (-75) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Therese Hager (183, college: Sam Houston St.) contributed with 8 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Nanna Sand (181-77, college: Arizona St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and Linda Hellander added 7 points in the effort for Asker/BV. Defending champion Asker/BV dropped to the second position with one game lost. Ullern are looking forward to face NTNUI (#5) in Trondheim in the next round. Asker/BV will play on the road against the league's leader Gimle in Bergen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
