Very expected game when 8th ranked Hamar (5-8) lost to fourth ranked KR (9-4) in Reykjavik 87-97. KR made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The former international swingman Pavel Ermolinskij (202-87) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 17 points, 17 rebounds and 16 assists for the winners and American guard Marcus Walker (186-86, college: Colorado St.) chipped in 19 points. KR's coach Hrafn Kristjansson allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side swingman Darri Hilmarsson (191-87) responded with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Andre Dabney (175-83, college: Bloomfield) scored 13 points and 5 assists.
