Regular Season Round 14: Elitzur Netanya - Elitzur Ramla 62-86

D1 top team - Elitzur Ramla (13-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Elitzur Netanya (6-8) 86-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Elitzur Netanya. Elitzur Netanya was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Elitzur Ramla players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. American players dominated also this game. Center Le'Coe Willingham (183-81, college: Auburn) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and center Kia Vaughn (193-87, college: Rutgers) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Elitzur Ramla players scored in double figures. Elitzur Ramla's coach Adan Inbar felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Ashley Shields (178-85, college: SW Tenn.St.CC) responded with 20 points and guard Ashley Houts (168-87, college: Georgia) scored 10 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Elitzur Ramla have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-1 record. Elitzur Netanya at the other side keeps the seventh place with eight games lost. Elitzur Ramla will play against Raanana Hertzeliya (#5) at home in the next round. Elitzur Netanya will play against Hapoel Tel-Aviv and hopes to get back on the winning track.
