Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Quimsa (5-4) defeated 10th ranked Monte Hermoso (4-6) in Santiado Estero 96-84. The game without a history. Quimsa led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Julio Mazzaro (190-79) who scored 25 points. The former international forward Diego Lo Grippo (198-78) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Quimsa's coach Carlos Romano used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Byron Johnson (201-80, college: Belm.Abbey, agency: Dream Team Management) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and guard Hernando Salles (188-79) added 14 points, 9 assists and 5 steals respectively. Four Quimsa and five Monte Hermoso players scored in double figures. Quimsa maintains sixth place with 5-4 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Monte Hermoso lost third consecutive game.
