Regular Season Round 27: Tokyo Apache - Takamatsu FA 85-72

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Tokyo Apache (11-9) defeated at home 9th ranked Takamatsu FA (7-19) 85-72 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 41-18 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Tokyo Apache dominated on the defensive end, holding Takamatsu FA to just 6 points in third quarter. The best player for the winners was American guard Byron Eaton (180-86, college: Oklahoma St.) who scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import power forward Robert Swift (213-85, college: High School) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Tokyo Apache players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Terrance Farley (208-85, college: Louisville) who recorded 20 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!) and guard Satoshi Takeda (185-80) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Tokyo Apache. They moved-up to fourth place. Takamatsu FA lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with 19 games lost. Tokyo Apache will face higher ranked Fukuoka Rizing (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Takamatsu FA will play against Kyoto Hannaryz (#5).
