Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Spojnia (8-9) was outscored on the road by fifth ranked MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza (11-6) 84-61 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-61. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Spojnia's 22. They outrebounded Spojnia 37-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza maintains fifth place with 11-6 record, which they share with LKS Lodz. Spojnia at the other side dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza will meet Polonia 2011 (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Spojnia will have a break next round.
