Everything went according to plan when third ranked Rosasport (13-4) defeated bottom-ranked Olimp MKS Start Lublin (4-13) in Radom 73-66 on Wednesday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Rosasport outrebounded Olimp MKS Start Lublin 41-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. The former international forward Pawel Wiekiera (206-78) nailed 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and guard Artur Donigiewicz (185-84) accounted for 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Rosasport players scored in double figures. Rosasport's coach Piotr Ignatowicz used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Sergiusz Prazmo (205-87) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and forward Przemyslaw Luszczewski (195-80, agency: Promotex) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Olimp MKS Start Lublin in the defeat. Rosasport moved-up to second place, which they share with Sokol Lancut. Olimp MKS Start Lublin lost their fifth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. They share it with Astoria and Polonia 2011. Rosasport will meet SKK Siedlce (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Olimp MKS Start Lublin will play against Astoria (#14) in Bydgoszcz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
