Regular Season Round 19: Voru KK - Tarvas 79-90

The game with biggest result difference took place in Voru. Local Voru KK (1-19) lost to fourth ranked BC Rakvere (11-10) 90-79 on Thursday night. Voru KK was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 31-16 charge of BC Rakvere, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 19 Voru KK turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Matthew Hall (191-86, college: Stonehill) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Joosep Pokla (195-86) helped adding 17 points and 6 rebounds. Hall is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. BC Rakvere's coach Andreas Sober used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American center Andrais Thornton (203-85, college: NW Missouri St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and forward Merlis Niklus (186-80) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BC Rakvere maintains fourth place with 11-10 record. Voru KK lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 19 lost games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
