No shocking result in a game when third ranked Obras (6-3) beat on the road 10th ranked Monte Hermoso (4-6) 82-71. The game was mostly controlled by Obras. Monte Hermoso managed to win fourth quarter 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was international power forward Juan Gutierrez (205-83) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds. The former international guard Luis Cequeira (180-85) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Four Obras players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Hernando Salles (188-79) who recorded 22 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and American power forward Byron Johnson (201-80, college: Belm.Abbey, agency: Dream Team Management) added 16 points and 11 rebounds respectively.
