Regular Season Round 18: Beijing Ducks - Xinjiang FT 85-105

Undefeated leader Xinjiang Flying Tige delivered the seventeenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Beijing Ducks (10-7) 105-85. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Beijing Ducks. The game was mostly controlled by Xinjiang Flying Tige. Beijing Ducks managed to win fourth quarter 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import guard Quincy Douby (191-84, college: Rutgers) contributed with 21 points and 4 assists for the winners. Jordanian forward Zaid Abbaas (203-83) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and American power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) added 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Beijing Ducks. Five Xinjiang Flying Tige and four Beijing Ducks players scored in double figures. Beijing Ducks' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Xinjiang Flying Tige (17-0) have an impressive 17-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 17 victories in a row. Beijing Ducks at the other side keep the sixth place with seven games lost. Xinjiang Flying Tige will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Beijing Ducks will play at home against Shandong Bulls (#10) in Jinan and hope to get back on the winning track.
