No shocking result in a game in Kalitheas where ninth ranked Ikaros (7-7) defeated 11th ranked AEK (4-10) 83-68. The game was mostly controlled by Ikaros. AEK managed to win third quarter 25-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 24-of-31 charity shots (77.4 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by AEK helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Lans Harris (195-83, college: Kansas St.) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Deon Thompson (203-88, college: N.Carolina) supported him with 16 points (perfect from the field making all six shots). Five Ikaros players scored in double figures. Ikaros' coach Aris Likogiannis gave the chance to play for all 12 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Naturalized Cypriot forward Prodromos Nikolaidis (201-78) added 13 points for the guests. Ikaros moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 5 other teams. AEK lost fourth consecutive game.
