LKS Sphinx (#6) forced the game against ISS Sportino (#4) into an overtime, but lost by five points 78-83. The game took place in Lodz. But the guests from Inowroclaw were better at the end. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of LKS Sphinx. LKS Sphinx was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 25-22 charge of ISS Sportino, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 9-4. ISS Sportino brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a good game for center Aleksander Lichodzijewski (202-84) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. The former international guard Lukasz Zytko (181-81) contributed with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. ISS Sportino's coach Aleksander Krutikov allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Bartlomiej Szczepaniak (187-81) replied with 17 points and forward Jakub Dluski (200-87) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for LKS Sphinx. Five ISS Sportino and four LKS Sphinx players scored in double figures. ISS Sportino maintains fourth position with 13-5 record. LKS Sphinx at the other side dropped to the seventh place with seven games lost. ISS Sportino will play against AZS Szczecin (#10) at home in the next round where they are favorite. LKS Sphinx will play against MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
