Important game to mention about took place in Hangzhou. Twelfth ranked Zhejiang Cyclones (8-10) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 4th placed Jiangsu Dragons (11-7) 88-86 on Sunday evening. Jiangsu Dragons were ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 29-25 charge of Zhejiang Cyclones, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for American forward Marcus Williams (201-86, college: Arizona, agency: ZAG Advocates) who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. International center Jinhui Ding (204-90) helped adding 19 points and 13 rebounds. Four Zhejiang Cyclones players scored in double figures. At the losing side French power forward Jerome Moiso (208-78, college: UCLA) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 22 rebounds and the former international guard XueFeng Hu (185-80) scored 7 points, 6 assists and 6 steals. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Zhejiang Cyclones moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Jiangsu Dragons at the other side keep the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Zhejiang G.L.. Zhejiang Cyclones will play against higher ranked Bayi Fubang (#7) in Ningbo in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jiangsu Dragons will play on the road against Zhejiang Guangsha Lions in Hangzhou and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
