Regular Season Round 18: SKK Siedlce - Rosa Radom 66-70 OT

Eleventh-ranked SKK Siedlce (6-12) made lots of trouble for third ranked Rosasport (14-4). The visitors from Radom managed to secure only four-point victory 70-66. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But SKK Siedlce won third quarter 12-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where SKK Siedlce used huge pressure winning it 21-17 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 3-7. Rosasport had a 37-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Artur Donigiewicz (185-84) notched 17 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Michal Przybylski (194-84) supported him with 6 points and 10 rebounds. Rosasport's coach Piotr Ignatowicz used entire bench in such tough game. Even 17 points and 6 rebounds by guard Karol Chomka (191-87) did not help to save the game for SKK Siedlce. Guard Dawid Brek (185-89, agency: Promotex) added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four SKK Siedlce players scored in double figures. Rosasport has a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Sokol Lancut. SKK Siedlce lost fourth consecutive game. SKK Siedlce at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Rosasport's next round opponent will be Asecco Prokom 2 (#6) in Gdynia. SKK Siedlce will play on the road against Astoria (#15) in Bydgoszcz.
