Rather expected game in Santiado Estero where 11th ranked Boca Juniors (4-7) was defeated by eighth ranked Quimsa (6-4) 80-73. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Roman Gonzalez (211-78) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds. Naturalized Italian swingman Anibal Marin (199-82) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Quimsa's coach Carlos Romano allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Mariano Fierro (201-86) replied with 15 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Fernando Martina (202-81) added 10 points in the effort for Boca Juniors. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Quimsa moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Obras and Libertad S. Boca Juniors at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with seven games lost. Quimsa's next round opponent will be Obras (#7) in Buenos Aires. Boca Juniors will play at home against Libertad Sunchales (#5).
