We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when thirteenth ranked Hapoel Beeri (4-12) crushed 12th ranked Hod Hasharon (4-11) in Beer-Shev 104-82 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Hapoel Beeri. Hod Hasharon was better in third quarter 27-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Jitim Young (188-81, college: Northwestern, agency: Edge Sports) replied with 25 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Stanley Brandy (200-67, college: De Paul) added 19 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Hod Hasharon. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hapoel Beeri maintains thirteenth position with 4-12 record. Hod Hasharon lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 11 games lost. Hapoel Beeri will face higher ranked Beer Yaakov (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
