Very predictable result in Ningbo where seventh ranked Bayi Fubang (11-8) defeated 12th ranked Zhejiang Cyclones (8-11) 86-70 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Bayi Fubang. Zhejiang Cyclones managed to win third quarter 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international center ZhiZhi Wang (214-79) who had a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds. International forward Lei Wang (203-86) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Bayi Fubang players scored in double figures. American forward Marcus Williams (201-86, college: Arizona, agency: ZAG Advocates) produced 28 points and international center Jinhui Ding (204-90) added 5 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bayi Fubang moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Beijing and Zhejiang G.L. Loser Zhejiang Cyclones dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Bayi Fubang will meet at home Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (#5) in the next round.
