Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (10-6) defeated at home 8th ranked Elitzur Holon (3-13) 76-65. The game was mostly controlled by Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion. Elitzur Holon was better in third quarter 16-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Elitzur Holon 47-33 including 34 on the defensive glass. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. The winners were led by swingman Danielle McCray (180-87, college: Kansas) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds and forward Alysha Clark (178-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) supported her with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Even 27 points and 5 rebounds by swingman Sheri Lynette Sam (183-74, college: Vanderbilt) did not help to save the game for Elitzur Holon. Guard Shannon Bobbitt (157-85, college: Tennessee) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for lost side. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion have a solid three-game winning streak. They share the position with Elitzur R.Le-Zion. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion will play against higher ranked Maccabi Ashdod (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
