Very expected game when 9th ranked Elitzur Rishon Le-Zion (3-13) was defeated on the road by third ranked Maccabi Ashdod (11-5) 88-83. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts were already 17 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 24-12 Elitzur Rishon Le-Zion's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 88-83 at the end of the game. Maccabi Ashdod dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Elitzur Rishon Le-Zion's 42. Maccabi Ashdod players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. The winners were led by swingman Tamara James (178-84, college: Miami (FL), agency: 540 Sports) who scored that evening 25 points (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) and forward Ambrosia Anderson (186-84, college: BYU) supported her with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.
