Bottom-ranked Sionista is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their tenth consecutive match to thirteenth ranked Boca Juniors (5-8) 89-84. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sionista won third quarter 19-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Sionista used huge pressure winning it 18-14 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 12-17. They outrebounded Sionista 47-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. Sionista was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Cedric Moodie (187-78, college: Indianapolis) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward Rodney Elliott (202-76, college: Maryland) who added 10 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Pedro Franco (187-81) with 21 points and 5 rebounds and American swingman Cleotis Brown (198-77, college: Illinois, agency: Dream Team Management) scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Boca Juniors and four Sionista players scored in double figures. Boca Juniors maintains thirteenth position with 5-8 record. Sionista at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Boca Juniors' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Buenos Aires Obras.
