Top ranked TU/Rock (20-2) recorded its second loss in Tallinn on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked TTU/Kalev (14-5) 74-58. It ended at the same time the 17-game winning streak of TU/Rock. The game without a history. TTU/Kalev led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for TTU/Kalev especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. Canadian guard Casey Archibald (195-84, agency: R.H.Consultancy) fired 29 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American-DR Congolese forward Bambale Osby (203-86, college: Maryland) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Osby is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American power forward Callistus Eziukwu (208-85, college: Grand Valley St.) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Silver Leppik (185-83) added 12 points respectively for lost side. TTU/Kalev maintains third position with 14-5 record having nine points less than leader TU/Rock. Defending champion TU/Rock still keeps top place with two games lost. TTU/Kalev's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tallinn TTU/Kalev II.
