There was a minor upset when higher ranked Scavolini Pesaro (8-9) was rolled over on the road by eleventh ranked Lottomatica Roma (8-9) 85-53 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Lottomatica Roma. Scavolini Pesaro was better in second period 15-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Scavolini Pesaro to just 3 points in third quarter. Lottomatica Roma forced 22 Scavolini Pesaro turnovers. The best player for the winners was Bosnian forward Nihad Dedovic (196-90, agency: Beo Basket) who scored 23 points and 7 steals.
