Regular Season Round 21: Inter Bratislava - Svit 93-83

Bottom-ranked Inter Bratislava managed to get a ninth victory, breaking the series of four consecutive loses on Wednesday night. This time they won against sixth-ranked Svit 93-83. Svit was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 27-16 charge of Inter Bratislava, which allowed them to win the game. Inter Bratislava outrebounded Svit 44-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Nenad Milosevic (190-83) who scored 30 points and 4 assists (went 13 for 13 at the free throw line !!!). British forward Frank Holmes (206-84, college: UAB) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 17 rebounds. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Adam McCoy (193-86, college: N.Texas) who recorded 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and Czech center Stanislav Votroubek (213-81) added 10 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks respectively. Inter Bratislava (9-17) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with B.Bystrica. Loser Svit keeps the sixth position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
