Eighth-ranked Spojnia (9-11) gave a tough game to first ranked AZS Politechnika Warszawska (16-3) in Stargard on Saturday. The visitors from Warszawa managed to secure only one-point victory 58-57. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 16-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. AZS Politechnika Warszawska dominated on the defensive end, holding Spojnia to just 6 points in first quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Lukasz Wilczek (189-86) who helped to win the game recording 5 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Leszek Karwowski (209-75) who added 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest.
