An interesting game for Etzella (14-5) which played road game in Steinsel against 4th ranked Amicale (11-8). Second ranked Etzella managed to get a 4-point victory 76-72. The guests trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 26-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Etzella outrebounded Amicale 46-29 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for the former international swingman Nelson Delgado (186-80) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 8 rebounds. American center Karim Shabazz (218-78, college: Providence) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. American forward Louis Birdsong (198-88, college: George Mason, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and international guard Raul Birenbaum (182-89) added 17 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Amicale. Etzella have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-5 record behind leader T71. Amicale at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost.
