An interesting game took place in Saint-Quentin where higher ranked Saint-Quentin (12-9) was upset on its own court by seventeenth ranked Roche (5-16) 73-62 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 40-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Roche outrebounded Saint-Quentin 42-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Harry Disy (201-84, college: Louisiana Tech) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Wayne Morris (198-77, college: Shippensburg) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Alexis Rambur (195-83) who recorded 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Keonta Howell (193-85, college: Toledo) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Five Saint-Quentin players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Roche maintains seventeenth place with 5-16 record. Loser Saint-Quentin dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Sorgues. Roche will meet at home higher ranked Le Puy ASMB (#13) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Saint-Quentin will play against Vendee Challans (#12) and hope to secure a win.
